6. Undo the drain screw (C) of the
water tank using a coin or a hex
wrench.
7. Pull the drain screw (C) off and wait
until water completely flows out of
the water tank (Fig. 45).
8. To end with, re-tighten the drain
screw.
CAUTION!
The water drained from the tank should never be used for food and
beverage purposes!
Water Tank Cleaning and Descaling
TIP!
The water tank should be descaled at least every 3 months.
1. Empty the water tank (section 6.2.11).
2. Insert the water tank cover.
3. Prepare a solution of water and a commercially available descaling agent.
Follow the descaling agent manufacturer's instructions from the packaging.
4. Pour the solution into the water tank and leave it for as long as indicated on a
packaging.
5. Empty the water tank (section 6.2.11).
6. Thoroughly rinse the water tank by filling it repeatedly with fresh water and
draining it (section 6.2.11).
