During a call, the image and a discontinuing alarm sound indicate low-power. After approximately 20
seconds the call will be disconnected.
When the ringing volume level is set to Level 0 (silent), the low-power warning alarm will turn on at Level 1
(the softest level). When the volume level is between 1 and 6, it will come on at Level 3 (medium level).
Date and Time
When using your e606 for the first time, please remember to set the date and time. This will ensure that all of
your e606 functions are accessible. For further instructions, refer to Setting Clock on page 9 and Date &
Time on page 85.

Power On/Off

You can use your handset after set up of the e606 is completed. This section describes how to turn the power
on/off, how to enter the PIN code, and how to set the clock to use the e606.
Power On/Off
You can power on or off on the e606. Proceed as described below.
To Power On

Ensure that your USIM card is in your e606 and that the battery is charged.

Press and hold the End (On-Off) key until power is on.
The term "press and hold" is equivalent to a key press time of approximately 2 seconds.
To Power Off
In standby mode, press and hold the End (On-Off) key until power is off. There may be some delay while the
handset powers down. Do not repower the handset during this time.

Entering PIN Code

You can enter your PIN code. Proceed as described below.
To Enter PIN

Ensure that your USIM card is in your e606 and that the battery is charged.

Press and hold the End (On-Off) key until power is on.

If Enter PIN is displayed, enter your PIN.
