Phone Operations

Receiving a Phone Call

A ringing tone alerts you of an incoming phone call. In addition,
the following message is displayed.
(Example: You are receiving a phone call.)
To answer a phone call:
Press

If you are unable to answer the phone call, press

DTMF Tones

Once an initial call has been made, pressing a key generates a
Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) tone for the duration of
the key press. DTMF tones are often used for credit-card dialing,
answering machines, voice mail, etc.

Burst DTMF Sequence

Once an initial call has been made, a
second number may be selected by
Memory Scroll, Alpha Search, or
Speed Dial. Pressing

number to be sent as a rapid DTMF
tone sequence.
