5.4 Commissioning into first use,
recommissioning
5.4.1 Carrying out function test
If possible, get the hydraulic control working first and check
functions under low pressure.
IMPORTANT
Special testing devices can be supplied for control and func-
tional testing. See 10.1 Available accessories.
5.4.2 Checking for leakage
Visually check the valve for leaks at normal operating
pressure.

Disassembly

DANGER
Before starting disassembly work, check that the
hydraulic system is depressurised and the electrics are
de-energized.
Never disassemble the valve cap. Disassembly of the
valve cap leads to loss of explosion protection!
1. Unscrew and pull off the plug-in connector from the
connection plug.
2. Have a container ready to collect the escaping hydraulic
medium.
3. Unscrew the valve fastening bolts and take off the valve.
4. Collect the escaping hydraulic medium in the container
and dispose of it properly.
5. If the valve is returned to the manufacturer for
maintenance, close the connection surface using the
supplied guard plate or protect it with equivalent packing
in order to prevent damage and contamination.
6. Likewise cover the subplate or connection surface to
prevent damage and accumulation of dirt.
