MAP Screen Orientation

The MAP screen has three types of orientation to choose from; North up,
Course up and Track up. North up has north located at the top of the screen,
Course up has the destination of the current leg at the top of the screen and
Track up has the direction you are moving at the top of the screen.
From the
Map
screen.
Use UP/DOWN ARROW
KEYS to highlight
the ORIENTATION setting.
The default setting is North up.

Course Projection

You may want to know where you will be after a specified period of time
based on your current speed and heading. You can do this by setting your
receiver to one of the following: OFF, 1 MINUTE, 2 MINUTES, 5
MINUTES or 10 MINUTES.
From
the Map
screen.
Use UP/DOWN
ARROW KEYS to
highlight COURSE PROJ.
A solid black line will appear starting from your position to the projected
position. The default setting is OFF.

LAT/LON Grid

With your MAP 410 you have the option of displaying or not displaying grid
lines on the MAP screen. If the primary navigation mode is UTM then UTM
grid lines will be displayed or if Lat/Lon is the primary navigation mode
then Lat/Lon grid lines will be displayed. Grid lines are displayed as gray
dotted lines.

highlight LAT/LON GRID.
The default setting is ON.
