Installation
4.1
Storage and Transportation
Keep the original packaging. Always store and transport the device in the original packaging.
Store the device in a clean and dry environment. The permitted ambient conditions must be
considered, see datasheet.
4.2
Unpacking
Check the product for damage while unpacking. In the event of damage to the product, inform
the post office or parcel service and notify the supplier.
Check the package contents against your purchase order and the shipping documents for:

Delivery quantity
•
Device type and version in accordance with the type label
•
Any accessories ordered
Retain the original packaging in case you have to store or ship the device again at a later date.

Mounting
Warning!
Malfunctions with pacemakers
This device does not exceed the permissible limits for electromagnetic fields. Maintain a mini-
mum distance of 25 cm between the device and your pacemaker.
Inadequate distance from the read/write head can result in inhibitions, reprogramming, or incor-
rect stimulation pulses.

Cet appareil ne dépasse pas les limites admissibles pour les champs électromagnétiques.
Maintenez une distance minimale de 25 cm entre l'appareil et votre stimulateur cardiaque.
Si la distance à la tête de lecture / écriture est trop courte, des impulsions d'inhibition, de repro-
grammation ou de stimulation incorrecte peuvent se produire.

Be careful not to burn your fingers when handling the device! After shutting down the device,
wait at least half an hour before handling the device.

Attention, risque de brûlure lors de la manipulation de l'appareil! Après la mise hors tension,
laissez l'appareil refroidir pendant au moins une demi-heure avant de le toucher.
The read/write head is intended for wall mounting or mounting on brackets in internal areas.
Please mount the read/write head using only the holes provided in the housing. The preferred
mounting direction is with the cable connection facing vertically downwards.
