3. Starting with the reel disc closest to the center of the
header and proceeding outward towards the ends,
adjust the header profile as follows:
a. Remove bolts (A).
b. Loosen bolt (B) and adjust arm (C) until desired
measurement is obtained between the reel tube
and the cutterbar.
NOTE:
Allow the reel tubes to curve naturally and
position the hardware accordingly.
c. Reinstall bolts (A) in aligned holes and tighten.

5.8.3 Centering the Reel

The reel(s) should be centered between the endsheets.

Centering Double Reels

To center the reels, follow these steps:
1. Loosen bolt (A) on each brace (B).
2. Move forward end of reel center support arm (C)
laterally as required, to center both reels.
3. Tighten bolts (A) and torque to 265 ft·lbf (359 N·m).
