Windows10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB is embedded on Windows part. It allows peripherals to work on Windows, and
applications for analyzing production information, including camera image analysis, production results, and traceability, can
be used.
■Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB
Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB is an operating system provided by Microsoft Corporation in the United States.
It includes language packs for Japanese, English, and Chinese.
Precautions
This product is not compatible with UEFI, so functions that require UEFI are not supported.
■Functions for Windows part
Use these functions to maintain and inspect the Windows part and execute the functions of the VxWorks part from the
Windows part.
■MELIPC API (Library for Windows)
Use this dedicated function library when creating user applications that use the functions of the Windows part and OS linking
function.

OS linking
A virtual network (VNIC) and a dedicated area (shared memory) that can be accessed bidirectionally from the VxWorks part
and Windows part is installed between the VxWorks part and Windows part. By utilizing the VNIC and shared memory, device
data collected by the VxWorks part can be passed to the Windows part, which enables high-speed data linking between
operating systems.
Application
The following applications (including partner software and middleware) run on either VxWorks 7.0 or Windows 10 IoT
Enterprise. Applications can be installed to suit the usage of the user.
