First-time operators are required to perform a minimum number of repetitions
of each of the eight driving maneuvers. The person giving the training must
demonstrate each maneuver and then have the trainee repeat the following
minimum number of repetitions.
口 Maneuver # 1-Large oval with stopping and starting practice. Once
counterclockwise and then once clockwise.
口 Maneuver # 2-Figure 8s .Three times.
Maneuver # 3-Corners: 90 degrees and less than 90 degrees. Two
口
clockwise and two counter clockwise.
口 Maneuver # 4-Slalom. Three times.
口 Maneuver # 5-Large oval with panic maneuver. Two times.
口 Maneuver # 6-Obstacle riding. Once with left wheels, once with right
wheels, and once with both wheels.
口 Maneuver # 7-Traversing hill. Once each direction.
口 Maneuver # 8-K-turn. One time.
