About this Operation Guide

This Operation Guide is meant to be read when using Scan to Mac and TWAIN for Mac to store
scan data to a Macintosh computer. This Operation Guide explains the procedures of installation
and uninstallation and the basic operation method of each utility.
Since the settings may vary depending on the environment of the Macintosh computer to be
connected, read the necessary sections for proper setting.
This Operation Guide should also be read and used together with the Functions Edition of the
appropriate Operation Guide (On-Line Manual) that is on the included Kyocera Document Library
CD-ROM. The Functions Edition of the Operation Guide (On-Line Manual) explains how to scan
and various setting methods.
