Optical receivers OD001A, OD002

Product description

Optical receivers (in text - receivers) are intended to convert optical signals into electrical signals, amplify and distribute
TV signals in cable TV distribution networks.
Receivers are produced with built-in switch-mode power supply for powering from the mains ~187...250 V and
DC 12...18 V through RF output (OD001A).
The receivers are intended for indoor use only.

Safety instructions

Installation of the receivers must be done according safety standards and by qualified service personnel.
The voltage of receivers is powered from is dangerous to life.
Receivers are double isolated from the mains ~230 V.
Equipment for DC remote powering of receivers must have protection from short connection.
To ensure safe operation of the receivers follow these instructions:
connect receivers to earth before power supplying;
do not plug the receivers into the mains supply if the power cord or plug are damaged and until all cables have been
connected correctly;
the mains socket must be easily accessible;
avoid placing the receivers next to heating components;
ensure normal ventilation conditions for the receivers;
an optical connector after disconnection emits optical radiation;
avoid looking directly into beam, laser light can cause eye injuries and result in permanent loss of vision.
