2. Do not power on the AP106 until all the necessary hardware is connected. Connecting the AP106 Unit Follow the steps below to connect the AP106 to audio source devices, a set of loud speakers, and an ATEN controller. AP106 (Rear) - Page 18 For safety and better audio quality, AWG 16 or thicker speaker wires are highly recommended. 4. (Optional) To control the unit using an ATEN controller, connect the ATEN controller to the unit’s RS-232 serial port. 5.
