Possible cause
Incorrect start-up procedure
Contaminated air filter (32)
Wrong spark plug electrode gap
Incorrect carburettor setting

Remedy
Follow the instructions for starting
Clean the air filter (32)
Clean spark plug and adjust electrode
gap or fit new spark plug
Have the carburettor adjusted and,
if necessary, clean the spark plug or
replace it with a new one
