The VT1510 Sub-Soiler shank, have been designed with care and built by skilled workers using quality materials. Proper setup, maintenance, and safe operating practices will help you get years of satisfactory use from the machine.
Refer to Figure 2 Your machine’s parts were specially designed and should only be replaced with Great Plains parts. Always use the serial and model number when ordering parts from your Great Plains dealer. The serial-number plate is located in front of manual pack holder.
Table of Contents Index Preparation and Setup Preparation and Setup This section helps you prepare your tractor and VT1510 Sub- Soiler for use, and covers tasks that need to be done seasonally, or when the tractor/Sub-Soiler configuration changes. Before using the Sub-Soiler in the field, you must hitch it to a suitable tractor, inspect systems and level the Sub-Soiler.
Clean all hydraulic couplings and hook hoses to tractor. VT1510 Wing Locks 1. On Model VT1510 when the wing locks (1) are installed run hydraulics in neutral to reduce the strain on the lock and wing stop block.
