play by using the number
buttons
NOTE
• Set the remote control mode selector to
AUDIO before using the number buttons.
• For a VCD or SVCD, this operation can
be carried out when the disc is stopped, or during
playback without the PBC function.
• For a DVD AUDIO, CD, MP3/WMA or JPEG, this
operation can also be carried out when the disc is
stopped.
• This operation may not be carried out for some
discs.

Designate the chapter number or
track number to play during
playback.
• Refer to "How to use the number buttons" on
page 15.

To stop playback

Press 7 during playback.

To pause playback

Press 8 during playback.
To start normal playback again, press DVD/CD 3.
• For JPEG slide-show, pressing DVD/CD 3 starts
playback from the next file.
To advance picture
frame-by-frame
Press 8 during pause.
• Each time you press the button, picture will be
advanced frame-by-frame.
Fast reverse/Fast forward
search
Press 1 or ¡ during playback.
• Each time you press the button, the speed

• Fast reverse/Fast forward search cannot be carried
out for MP3, WMA, and JPEG.

during Fast reverse/Fast forward search.
