One or several sensor heads:
Communication not established or interrupted!
Front reference cameras:
Path obstructed!
Rear reference cameras:
Path obstructed!
Left reference cameras:Path obstructed!

Front left stereo cameras:
Path obstructed or wheel detection failed!
Front right stereo cameras:
Path obstructed or wheel detection failed!
Rear left stereo cameras:
Path obstructed or wheel detection failed!

Path obstructed or wheel detection failed!
Initial measurement:
Vehicle motion was not detected; Initial measure-
ment process must be repeated!
Initial measurement:
Vehicle motion to brief, too fast or wheel detection
failed.

Possible cause
DTC without context-based de-
scription.
R Network fault
R Sensor head firmware crash.
R Field of view of the reference
cameras is covered.
R Sensor heads are not aligned
correctly to one another.
R Operation of the reference ca-
meras is disrupted by reflec-
tions or direct sunlight.
Field of view between stereo
cameras and wheel is covered.
Vehicle was not moved within
30 seconds following the start
of the initial measurement pro-
cess.
R Vehicle was moved too
quickly or too briefly.
R Wheel detection failed.

Remedy / action
If the message occurs more frequently in
combination with a specific DTC, inform ser-
vice.
R Shut down PC/laptop and disconnect from
mains voltage system.
R Switch off the electrical cabinet.
R Wait one minute and then switch on all
testers again and allow to boot.
R If the problem cannot be remedied, inform
service.
R Ensure an unobstructed view between the
cameras.
R Avoid direct sunlight at the measurement
bay.
R Use "Maintenance" "Tools" "Aligning the
sensor heads" to check and realign the po-
sition of the sensor heads.
Ensure an unobstructed view between ste-
reo cameras and wheel.
Go back one program step and repeat the
initial measurement.
Repeat initial measurement, taking into ac-
count the possible causes.
