  • Page 2 If you skip ahead, you may learn later that you have to disassemble com ponents and that you may have damaged the equipment. О Assemble and operate the GPA-3 on a solid, level surface. Locate the unit a few feet from the walls or furniture to provide easy access.

    U n p a ckin g th e E q u ip m e n t Be careful to assemble all components in the sequence presented in this guide. The GPA-3 is carefully tested and inspected before shipment. We have shipped the unit in several pieces that require assembly. A sk for assistance during the If any items are missing, contact the dealer from whom assem bly process.

You must review and follow the instructions in this Owner’s Manual. If you do not assemble and use the GPA-3 according to these guidelines, you could void the Body-Solid warranty.
  • Page 5 I n s t r u c t i o n s Assembly of the GPA-3 takes professional installers about 1 hour to complete. If this is the first time you have assembled this type of equipment, plan on significantly more time.
  • Page 6 Be careful to assem ble all com ponents in the sequence they are presented. N O T E : Some com ponents m ay be pre-installed. Connect Pulley Plate (B) and Center Arm Frame (A) as shown by using: Tw o A1 (M 12x75 hex head bolt) Tw o B1 (M 12 nylon nut) Install two Pulleys (D4) to Center Arm Frame (A) using: Tw o A3 (M 10x45 hex head bolt)

Attach Cable (D3) to Right Arm (D) by sliding it into position. Bring Cable (D3) around the Pulley on Pulley Plate (B) then down towards Pulley Holder with Hook (F) as shown.
