11. Check that Y-connector valves are open (if applicable).
12. Turn water on and check for leaks. Wait 30 minutes and check
again, some leaks are slow to show up.
13. If leaks are found, check and retighten the hose couplings.
NOTE: If leaks persist after checking and retighten-
ing hose coupling, check for crossing threading,
and damaged hose(s) or rubber washer(s).

IMPORTANT:
Hoses and other rubber parts deteriorate after extend-
ed use. Hoses may develop cracks, blisters or material
wear from the temperature and constant high pressure
they are subjected to.
All hoses should be checked on a monthly basis for
any visible signs of deterioration. Any hose showing
the signs of deterioration listed above should be re-
placed immediately. All hoses should be replaced ev-
ery five years.
