Boxfish 360 Quick Start Guide

Introduction

Use this guide as a quick reminder of tasks required to use the Boxfish 360 in the
field. Please become familiar with the Boxfish 360 Owner's Manual before using
this guide.

3 Preparation for use

At least several hours in advance of your dive, complete the following:
Use the Boxfish app to erase the memory cards and write config files
Use the Boxfish app to ensure 360 software has your desired settings
Put the memory cards into each camera
Fully charge the 360 (with batteries inside all cameras)
Set each Z Cam E1 cameras with your desired settings
(If using) Fully charge the Recording Extender batteries and place into
compartments
Check main O-ring (7) is in good condition and lubricated, and that domes (5)
are clean and free of dust and dirt
Lubricate mounting screws on accessories (floats, monopod, tripod) with
silicone grease before attaching to the 360.

  • Page 2 Video: hold down the start/stop button for 2 seconds until the 360 stops beeping. Then, press the start/stop button once to start recording video. The 360 will beep twice after the ‘sync beep’ to indicate the 360 is still at the target vacuum pressure. Press the start/stop button again to stop recording.
