1.7.109 HI-TXPOWER
The Equipment High Transmit Power alarm is an indicator on the OC-N port transmitted optical signal
power. HI-TXPOWER occurs when the measured optical power of the transmitted signal exceeds the
threshold.

Clear the HI-TXPOWER Alarm

In node view, display the card view for the controller card (15310-CL-CTX or CTX2500).
Step 1
Click the Provisioning > Optical > Optics Thresholds tabs.
Step 2
Decrease (change toward the negative direction) the OPT-HIGH column value by 1%.
Step 3
If the card transmit power setting cannot be lowered without disrupting the signal, complete the

Removing a card that currently carries traffic on one or more ports can cause a traffic hit. To avoid this,
