Sealing Wand: Dispenses sealant Sealant Flow Control: Control the flow rate of sealant. C1 Mastic Control Panel: Controls for applying mastic 11) Mastic Flow Control: Controls the amount of aggregate that mixes into mastic. Access Port: The sealing wand is placed in here when not in use. This allows operator to continue circulating sealant through the hose to prevent the wand tip from cooling and freezing up.

Rock Only: Only rock will enter and exit mastic mixing chamber when gate is opened. Rock Burner ON/OFF: Allows pre- IMLINE programmed controller to Activate\Deactivate the rock heat chamber. Melter Start Up Load Sealant into Empty Tank All material must be clean. Keep all foreign matter out of melting tank. 1) Open the material door (a) and place the block of material (b) on the open door against the holder (c). 2) Push door to the closed position.

Mastic Dispensing Operation Loading Rock into Hopper Cimline C1 will accept rock 1/2” or smaller. 1) Slowly pour rock into hopper. 2) Remove any rock or debris that will not fit through hopper grate to prevent clogging. CAUTION IF HOPPER CONVEYER SCREW CLOGS SHUT OFF ENGINE AND REMOVE KEY TO PREVENT STARTING.

Clean Out Procedure Mastic Cleanout Procedure Near the end of the day, Cimeline advises to cleanout the mixing chamber. Additional Settings Modifying Sealant Temperature Control Settings The Sealant Temperature Control on your CIMLINE C1 melter has been factory set to run the most common types of sealants. These sealants have an application temperature of 380° F (193°C) With some sealants, it may be require a change to the controller to achieve the appropriate application temperature.

NOTE : When breaking in a new Melter, CIMLINE recommends running the engine for one hour with no load prior to actual use on the job. First, remove top plumbing cover (a) by loosening the 2 top bolts on the side of the boom tower. After those are loose remove the two bolts in the back of the C1 and set the upper cover aside. Second, remove the 4 bolts holding the bottom cover in place.

YOU MUST CLARIFY with the supplier that the oil is to be used in a heat transfer system to avoid any potential problems. Oil is also available from CIMLINE in 5 and 30 gallon(19 and 114L) containers for ship-out.
NOTE: A dipstick (A) is provided for checking heat transfer oil level when cold. This is a petroleum based product. CIMLINE recommends that you do not mix oil brands. Mixing any oils (Engine oil, transmission fluid, etc.) adversely affects each manufacturers formula.
