You may receive error messages on the camera's Display, or
on your computer screen.

Possible cause
The card in the
memory slot is
not a memory
card or is not a
supported
memory card.
Battery power is
low and the
camera will shut
down soon.
There are no
images in the
camera and you
are trying to
review them.
You are
attempting to
take pictures
when the card is
full.
Card is new
and needs to be
formatted.
Solution
Check and ensure that
the card is a
CompactFlash (CF)
memory card.
Either recharge or
replace the batteries.
Take some pictures.
Unload the pictures from
the camera, delete
unwanted pictures, or
replace the card with a
new one.
Format the memory card
by using the Delete
The camera will delete all
data on the card.
