Model Description RF-800 Rotary Microtome General Information The Precisionary RF-800 rotary microtome is a semi-automatic model that is ideal for routine histology tissue sectioning. This microtome provides high precision cutting and stability, which gives you reproducible, high-quality wax-embedded and fixed tissue sections.

Unpacking & Installing the Rotary Microtome RF-800 We’re here to help provide instructions on how to unpack your new RF-800 carefully and safely! 1. Begin by unpacking the wooden crate containing the rotary microtome. • There will be metal “tabs” around the edges of the wooden crate. • Use a screwdriver to help pull each tab up. 2. After all tabs are pulled up, remove the top cover of the wooden crate. 3. When you receive the rotary microtome, the handwheel will already be installed for you! • There are two ways to lock the handwheel: 1) The lever at the top of the handwheel allows you to lock and unlock the wheel’s movement.
