  • Page 3 Introduction The model GLHAL - Light Mounted Orchard Disk Harrow - is specially designed to work with even penetration, hoeing weeds without damaging roots, branches and fruits. Excellent application hoeing citrus orchards or similars. It has a great versatility, allowing the operation both on drawn and hydraulic lift types.

    • The instructions under this symbol refers to the safety of the operator or third parties, therefore it should be carefully read and observed. The GLHAL disk harrow is simple to operate, requiring however the basic and essential cautions to its handling. Always keep in mind that safety requires constant attention, observation and prudence during the harrowing, transportation, maintenance and storage.

    • To tighten, the gangs must remain underpinned with a piece of wood or another object, preventing it from moving. (Figure on page 14).     Bearing in detail Chassis junction Couple the front chassis (A) to the (B) chassis using a junction axis (C) and cotter pin. GLHAL Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    Lubricate all grease fittings appropriately. (See lubrication instructions on page 23). Hitching to the tractor Couple the hitch (A) to the traction bar and fasten it using the axis (B) and r-clip. The traction bar must remain fixed during working.     It is necessary to perform the maneuvers on the left hand side to avoid ATTENTION overloading the equipment and allow it to operate normally.     To know how many hours will be spent to work a certain previously known area, it is necessary to divide the value of the area by the hourly income. Example: An area of 100 hectares to be worked with a GLHAL harrow of 22 disc blades (Hourly income = 1,20 hectares).
