    4.3 UPDATING THE LOCK SOFTWARE a. Connect the computer to the service port of the Node with an ethernet cable. First check that you have access to the Internet via the service port. Open an internet browser and type http://172.17.17.17 into the address field to access the Node user interface. Do not type “www” before the “http://” in the address. b. There are vent holes on both sides of the device, designed to provide cooling air passing through the device. Allow enough free space, minimum of 25mm around the Node to ensure the free flow of cooling air. Make sure there is no risk of the device falling aside as this would block the cooling air flow through the vent holes.

Once the SMS has been sent by the Lock 500, the time to get it delivered to the destination is dependent on the Operator used.
