Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from: (a) improper or inadequate maintenance or
calibration; (b) software, interfacing, parts or supplies not supplied by HP; (c) unauthorized
repair, maintenance, modification or misuse; (d) operation outside of the published operating
specifications for the product; (e) improper site preparation or maintenance; or (f) such other
exclusions as may be expressly set forth in this Warranty Statement.

Limitation of Implied Warranties

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY BY
THE MANUFACTURER OF MERCHANTABILITY FOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE OR OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY LIMITED TO THE DURATION
OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE.

Exclusive Remedy

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, THE REMEDIES IN THIS
WARRANTY STATEMENT ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. EXCEPT AS
INDICATED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL HP BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA OR FOR
DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (INCLUDING LOST PROFIT) OR
OTHER DAMAGE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE.
