Description
Use the ipv6 nd nud reachable-time command to configure the neighbor reachable time on an
interface. This time value serves as not only the neighbor reachable time on the local interface, but
also the value of the Reachable Timer field in RA messages sent by the local interface.
Use the undo ipv6 nd nud reachable-time command to restore the default neighbor reachable time
and to specify the value of the Reachable Timer field in RA messages as 0, so that the number of hops
is determined by the requesting device itself.
By default, the neighbor reachable time on the local interface is 30,000 milliseconds and the
Reachable Timer field in RA messages is 0.
Related commands: display ipv6 interface.
Examples
# Set the neighbor reachable time on VLAN-interface 100 to 10,000 milliseconds.
