Expanding our already extensive family of display choices, Compaq
introduces two new large-screen monitors at budget-friendly
prices. The 17-inch S710 (16.0-inch viewable) and 19-inch S910
(18.0-inch viewable) monitors simplify the transition to larger
screen sizes with affordable, strong front-of-screen performance.
Compaq Standard Series CRT monitors offer convenient, easy-to-use
digital controls and on-screen displays. And both models are USB Hub
ready, enabling USB peripheral users to add a hub to the monitors
while saving standard peripheral users the cost of a USB connection.
The S910 monitor offers enhanced clarity with its new Rectangular
Cone System, which fits the rectangular shape of the monitor display.
The new system uses 30 percent less deflection power and reduces
magnetic leakage.
Both new S-Series monitors feature Compaq Intelligent Manageability
AssetControl to track information, such as serial number, via the
corporate network, lowering the overall cost of ownership.
