Chapter 6: Frequently asked questions

This product has been set to its standard mode of
operations before shipping. If you encounter any
problems while using the Digital Picture Frame, please
refer to the following table for problems and solutions.
Problem
Picture is
fuzzy or
unstable
Frame will
not power on
After con-
necting the
Digital Picture
Frame and
PC with an
USB cable,
the operating
system does
not detect it.
Solution
Make sure the resolution & color of Pictures
are displayed fine on a PC.
Keep the player away from any interference,
e.g. induction cooker, hair dryer, magnetized
and unshielded speakers, etc.
Hold the button down for 3 seconds
Make sure the Power adapter is connected
correctly to the Frame and wall.
Unplug the power adapter from the frame,
wait 5 second and plug the adapter back
and then press the power button.
1. The Digital Picture frame supports
Windows 2000/XP/Vista. Other operating
systems may work but are not supported
by GiiNii.
2. If the Picture Frame is not recognized by
USB ports at the front side of the PC, try
the USB ports at rear side (usually near the
keyboard jack) of the PC.
