SYMPTOM CAUSES
Amp won't turn on Blown Fuse
Power cord is not
pushed in all the
way or intermittent
Tubes light up but Rectifier tube is bad
no sound even though it still
lights up
Volume control is all
the way down.
The source switch is
set to the wrong
source
Your source is not
playing
Interconnect cables
are unhooked
Incorrect tubes are
installed
tubes are installed
in the wrong
locations
Sound is real weak Source switch set to
wrong source
Sound is getting Tubes are past
weak rated life of 3000
hours
Sound drops out on Power cord is loose
both channels and
comes back on

REMEDIES
Replace fuse
Check power cord,
replace if necessary.!
Replace rectifier tube.
Increase volume control
level
Adjust the switch to the
other position.
Start source
Reinstall interconnect
cables.
Install correct tube types
Reinstall tube in the
correct locations.
Reduce volume and
Adjust source switch.!
Replace tubes.
Check power cord,
replace if necessary.!
