Tap Music to access your music library list
from any menu screen.
The following music libraries are listed:
Artists displays the list of music files
sorted by artist.
Albums displays the list of music files
sorted by album.
Tracks displays the list of music files
sorted by track.
Covers displays the list of music files
sorted by cover image. Use the wheel to
browse the cover images.
Favourites displays the list of your
favourite music files.
Playlists lists the playlists you created.
Podcasts displays the podcasts
downloaded from your PC.
Audiobooks displays the list of audio
books.
Genres displays the list of music files
sorted by genre.
Recently added displays the music files
you have recently saved to the phone.
Notes!
- Once you have started playing music,
you can see Now playing on the top
of the music library list. When the music
player is closed, Start playing will
appear instead.
- When you change a genre of a music
file to Audiobook or Podcast, the
cover image of the album that contains
the music file will not display in Covers.

Play music

Using the music player, you can listen to music and
share your favourite songs with others.
> Slide the backside upwards to raise the
loudspeaker before using the music player.
> Tap Music. The music library list appears.
> Select a music library → a music file. The music
player opens and plays the file.
> To stop playback and close the player, press END.
Useful hint...When you press Music in Idle mode
and wait a few seconds, the music player starts
playing the last played music file.
During playback, tap More to access the following
options:
- Pause or Play: pause or resume playback.
- Music library home: access the music library list.
- Add to favourites: add the file to the
Favourites music library.
- Add to playlist: add the file to one of the
playlists you have created.
- Go to artist: open the album list of the artist
currently playing.
- Bass boost: change the bass boost to increase
the output of low frequencies.
- Play via Bluetooth: connect the phone to the
Bluetooth stereo headset and play the file.
- Delete track: delete the file.
- Repeat: turn the repeat mode on or off.
- Send via: send the file via MMS, email, or
Bluetooth.
- Track details: access the file information.

Operate the music player

During playback, use the following buttons for
basic operation:
- Press SEND to pause or resume playback.
- Press OK to open the current playlist.
- Use the wheel to adjust the volume.
- Tap the left or right arrow on the screen to move
to the next or previous file. If you cannot see the
arrows, tap the bottom centre of the screen to
bring up the arrows.
To move between the music player and music
library list, tap the centre of the screen.
To connect to a Bluetooth stereo headset, during
playback, tap More and select Play via Bluetooth.
When connected, slide the backside down to close
the loudspeaker.
Useful hint...To toggle between the music player
and the phone during playback, press Music. When
the idle screen appears, press OK and access the
menu you want. You can write messages or access
the Phonebook while listening to music.
