Decrease oven temperature 10 F to 30°F (5°C to 15°C).
Are crust edges browning early?

Use aluminum foil to cover the edge of the crust and/or
reduce baking temperature.
Slow baking or roasting
Was the oven preheated?

Wait for oven to preheat before placing food in oven.
