To enter Programming Mode take the phone off hook by removing the handset from the cradle or by pressing the [SPK] key. During the programming process do not switch Audio modes.

The LCD will display the greeting message and the current Audio mode. While the phone is off hook and it detects a Call Disconnect pulse from the CO line or PABX, the phone will go on hook, even with the handset off the cradle.
