Saving Recordings Using an iOS/Android Device

Using the Camera Connect app*, you can save your MP4 movies and
photos on an iOS or Android device. Before saving recordings, you can
also check the movies** or photos.
* The Camera Connect app is available from Canon as a free download from
the App Store (iOS devices) and Google Play™ (Android devices).
** Depending on the video quality used (A 79), you may not be able to use the
iOS/Android device to check movies before saving them.
Format
• Before you perform these procedures for the first time, down-
load and install the latest version of the Camera Connect app
from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play™ (Android
devices).

Camcorder: From any movie index screen (A 65), activate
the Camera Connect function.

• After a moment, the camcorder's network name and password
will appear.
• The camcorder will be ready to connect with the iOS or Android
device.
