Wall Mounting the 19" Chassis

When wall mounting the chassis, ensure the wall can support the weight of the
chassis (31 lbs per system chassis including blades, cords, power supply, etc.).
The chassis is secured to the wall with a wall mount bracket. Ensure that
enough space is available to allow the installation of additional expansion
chassis.

CHS1U-AU and CHS2U-AU Chassis Installation

Using the spacing guide shown below, align two wall mount
brackets. Refer to

Select screws to match with the wall type as follows:
A concrete wall is recommended because it is the most firm to mount the
SV8300 of the two. The plaster board is the most firm wall of the two.

It is suggested that plywood first be installed on the
wall where the chassis will be positioned. This allows
for secure anchoring of the screws which will be
supporting the weight of the chassis.
