Switching the Display

For the following three items, you can switch the display
to show one item only.
• GAIN
• WHT BAL
• SHUTTER
The display can be alternately switched to show one item
or the entire page by pressing the DISPLAY button on the
side panel.

Setting Contents

C.TEMP (color temperature)
This function converts the color temperature to let you
obtain the same tone as when shooting under lighting
conditions with a normal color temperature (3200K on this
camera), even when shooting under abnormal lighting
conditions.
3200K : Set to this value when shooting indoors.
5600K : Set to this value when shooting outdoors.
WHT BAL (white balance)
Adjusts the white balance so you can obtain an image with
a natural tone even under abnormal lighting conditions.
AUTO : This setting is used when you want to use the
white balance value obtained through automatic
adjustment.
See page 40 for automatic adjustment method.
MANU : You can manually adjust R. GAIN (red gain) and
B. GAIN (blue gain) while viewing the monitor screen.
The range of adjustment is –128 through +127 for both
red and blue gain.
