7.34 Assembling the saw head (P4S
and P5S)
Assemble the different components in the reverse
order as set out for dismantling in chapter 7.33.
Make sure the the filter on the oil hose is in the
bottom ofthe oil tank.
Assemble the chain (B) on the flywheel and attach
the sealing plate (E) inside the cover.
To fit the shaft onto the saw head, carry out the
following;
Install the drive shaft into the shaft.
Fit the drive shaft into the saw head.
Make sure the locating screw (C) becomes
properly mounted unto its fixing point on tube; then
tighten. Tighten the screw (D).
7.35 Assembly saw head, shaft and
engine (P4S, P5S)
Saw head must be mounted on the tube shaft.
Press the tube shaft (D) into the clutch drum. Make
sure the drive shaft connect to the splines in the
clutch drum.
TIP!
To make sure the drive shaft is connected to the
splines in the clutch drum rotate the chain on a
piece of wood forwards and backwards.
Tighten the screws (C, E).
Make sure that the throttle wire is correct mounted
in it's indentation. Connect the throttle wire.
Connect the two cables from ignition modules (B).
Assembly covers and thighten the nuts (A)
