    • The instructions under this symbol refers to the safety of the operator or third parties, therefore it should be carefully read and observed. The GNLCR disk harrow is simple to operate, requiring however the basic and essential cautions to its handling. Always keep in mind that safety requires constant attention, observation and prudence during the harrowing, transportation, maintenance and storage.

    • Finally, put the bolt (H-1) and position the lock nut (I-1), fastening it with a spring washer and nut. • Check the correct side of the bearings and spacer spools according IMPORTANT to the concavity of the disc blades.     • Place the bolt (A) and the bolt lock (B), passing through the bearing housing and the bearing hanger hole. On top, place a flat washer (C), nut and cotter pin. • Repeat this operation for other bearings. GNLCR Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    On top, place a spring washer and nut. The scrapers feature an adjustment to approach or distance them from the NOTE disc blades. It should have a distance from 5 to 10 mm. GNLCR Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    • The protection cover is assembled on the right side of the harrow (closed side). • Articulate the cover above the frame and also assemble the bumpers (C) to the chassis ends (front and rear) on the same side. GNLCR Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    Relieve the pin by activating the control valve to lower the tires. • Keep the traction bar fixed (work and transportation). • Never remove the hoses before lowering the harrow and relieve the control valve pressure. GNLCR Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    • Before working, check the condition of all parts and retighten nuts and bolts, especially the ones on the disc gangs, otherwise the axis and other fixation components may be damaged. • Lubricate all grease fittings appropriately.     • To start the harrowing, we recommend an average disc gang opening. If a bigger penetration is necessary, increase the opening angle of the rear gang. • The front gang usually does not work with a greater opening than the rear gang. GNLCR Marchesan Implementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” S.A.

    The better position is achieved by changing the drawbar position on the hitch bar, according to the figure below.     • Relieve the control valve pressure before disconnecting the quick couplers and when doing any verification in the hydraulic cylinder. • As previously mentioned the GNLCR harrow has several settings. However, only the local conditions can determine the best adjustment thereof.

    Important data Calculation of hourly income To calculate the hourly income of the GNLCR disk harrow, use the following calculation: R = L x V x E Where: R = Hourly income; L = Harrow working width (in meters); V = Average speed of the tractor (in meters per hour);...

    To know how many hours will be spent to work a certain previously known area, it is necessary to divide the value of the area by the hourly income. Example: An area of 100 hectares to be worked with a GNLCR of 37 disc blades (Hourly income = 1,83 ha).
