Required Equipment: To successfully complete this procedure you will need the following equipment: • This projector • A computer to copy the latest firmware update • An USB drive/Key, FAT32 formatted with 1 Go of free space or more Downloading and extracting the firmware: • Download the zip file for the update onto the PC. The file name should be jkcpj201601v[xxxx].zip where xxxx is the version number • Unzip this file and copy the “UD_B2A1” folder and its contents to the root directory of the USB drive. The USB drive should contain only one folder named UD_B2A1.

Menu > Function > “Software Update” • Select the “Software Update” in the menu. A confirmation screen asking whether to start the software update appears. • Before confirming the upgrade, check the required time. Then select “Yes” to confirm the beginning of the upgrade procedure. CAUTION: !!! Do not turn off the projector or remove the USB drive while updating. Interrupting the update may cause the projector to malfunction !!! • Once the required time is reached and that the update is completed, the projector will automatically turn off and all the LED indicators will go out. • You can turn on the power again, by pressing the [Power] button on the projector. Alternatively, you can press any button on the RCU to exit the standby state and then press the [ON] button to switch this projector on.

Blink simultaneously Troubleshooting: If the update does not end even after it has long past the estimated required time, there is a possibility that update has failed. You should request for repair at your authorized dealer Double check that the USB drive is correctly inserted and that it is correctly formatted in FAT32.
