After saving the message center number, scroll to Messages sent as
and press Select.

Scroll to the message format you want and press OK.
For example, E-mail.

Scroll to E-mail server and press Select.
Check with your wireless provider for the e-mail server number.

Enter the e-mail server number and press Options.
OR
To search for the number in the Phone book, scroll to Find and press
Select. Search the Phone book and when you find the number, press
OK.
The E-mail server number box appears with the number filled in.
Press Options.

Accept appears highlighted.

Press Select.
A confirmation message appears.

Press Menu and Select. (Messages > Write message).
Write messages appears briefly, followed by the message screen.

Write the message. The indicator in the
upper right corner shows the number of
characters available (counts down for
each character added). Messages can
contain up to 600 characters divided in up
to 4 parts.
