Locking Out Memory Channels

Memory channels that you prefer not to monitor while
scanning can be locked out. Lock out any memory
channel with the following procedure:
1 Select the desired band.
2 Press [MR] to enter Memory Recall mode.
3 Turn the Tuning control, or press Mic [UP]/[DWN] to
select the desired memory channel.
4 Press [MNU] to enter Menu mode.
5 Select Menu No. 4 (Memory).

] , then select item No. 1 (Lock Out).

7 Press [SET] to toggle Lockout ON or OFF (default).

8 Press [MNU] again to exit Menu mode.
"L" appears beside the memory channel number to
indicate that the channel has been locked out.

Lockout for an individual channel can be canceled by
repeating the above procedure.
Note: The L1 to L3 and U1 to U3 memory channels cannot be
locked out.
