9.1. Basic Operations

9.1.1. Loading a New Paper Roll

1 Unlock the main door and locate the printer on left side of interior.
The paper roll should feed from bottom up as shown. Load the paper onto the spindle with the end
under the roll towards the back and over the top to point forward with the thermal side on top.

Tear off a full turn of the
from the new paper roll.
Cut the paper straight across.

Note: This is important since the outer end of the paper is usually fixed to the roll with some type of
glue or self-adhesive substance that might otherwise cause paper jam or even print head damage.

Push backward the paper cutter/holder (green bar) and lift up.
Feed the paper through the opening at the back of the printer and under the paper cutter/holder
(green bar), then press down evenly making sure both corners click closed. The printer will now

feed, cut and eject a piece of paper around 4 3/4 inches long. This means the paper is loaded
properly. If not, please reload paper.
6 MPNG is ready to operate.
