To use your air conditioner, you can either use the remote control or the emergency operation switch on the indoor unit. The remote control allows you to select the operation mode, adjust temperature, fan speed, and set timers. The emergency operation switch provides basic control, changing operation in the order of Emergency COOL, Emergency HEAT, and Stop, with preset temperature and fan speed settings.

The control panel on the indoor unit is referred to as the emergency operation switch (E.O. SW). When the remote controller cannot be used, you can press this switch. Each press of the E.O. SW changes the operation in the following order: Emergency COOL, Emergency HEAT, and Stop. In Emergency COOL, the set temperature is 24°C, fan speed is Medium, and horizontal vane is Auto. The same settings apply to Emergency HEAT.
