Installing CaptureOnTouch

Do not connect the scanner to the computer before
Installing CaptureOnTouch.
Insert the Setup disc into the computer's DVD-ROM drive.
Click [Typical Installation] in the setup menu, and follow the instructions
on the screen to complete the installation.

Connecting the Scanner to the
Computer
Turn ON the computer.
Set the Auto Start switch on the scanner to OFF.
Connect the scanner to the computer using the supplied USB
cable. (Connect the power supply USB cable, if higher speed
scanning is necessary.)

Notes on connection
Make sure to set the Auto Start switch to OFF before connecting the
scanner to the computer. If the Auto Start switch is set to OFF after the
scanner is connected to the computer, malfunctions may occur.
