Problem
The alarm tone is
sounding.
One of the following
faults appears in the
display:

Fault FXX

Waterproof

Fault F78

Possible cause and solution
Before remedying the fault:
 Turn off the dishwasher.
There may be a technical fault.
 Turn the dishwasher back on after a few seconds.
 Restart the desired program.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault.
 Turn off the dishwasher.
 Close the faucet.
 Contact Miele Customer Service.
The Waterproof system has reacted.
 Turn off the dishwasher.
 Close the faucet.
 Contact Miele Customer Service.
Circulation-pump fault.
 Turn off the dishwasher.
 Turn the dishwasher back on.
 Restart the desired program.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault.
 Turn off the dishwasher.
 Close the faucet.
