Frequently asked questions

With the aid of the following guide, most minor problems can be corrected without
contacting Miele. You can save time and money in many cases, as you do not
need to contact Miele Customer Service.
The following guide should help you to find the reason for a malfunction or fault,
and to correct it. However, please note:
Danger due to incorrect repairs.
Repairs by unqualified persons can cause considerable danger to users.
Repairs must only be carried out by Miele Customer Service, an authorized
Miele dealer, or a suitably qualified specialist in accordance with local and na-
tional safety regulations.

Technical faults

Problem
The display remains
dark after the dish-
washer has been turned
on with the  sensor
button.
The dishwasher stops
during a program.
After the program has
started, the in-operation
indicator light is not vis-
ible.

Possible cause and solution
The dishwasher is not plugged in.
 Insert the plug.
The circuit breaker has tripped.
 Reset the breaker (see data plate for the correct
fuse rating).
 If the breaker trips again, contact Miele Customer
Service.

correct fuse rating).
 If the circuit breaker trips again, contact Miele
Technical Service.
The reflector panel was not correctly fitted.
 Re-fit the reflector panel correctly (see installation
sheet).
