Troubleshooting
Immediately after the printer is switched on, it cannot print because it
needs a several seconds to warm up. After switching on the printer, you
must wait for the Online lamp to light and remain on.
Mount the User Software CD-ROM provided with the printer.
Call for service and request a new installer CD-ROM. You can also
download the driver from the Canon Home Page (http://www.canon.com/).
If Windows displays a system error message such as "General Protection
Fault" or "Illegal Operation", the computer system has become unstable.
Confirm the problem with the system and try to install again.
Delete the Printer icon then try to install again. (Æ Setup Guide)
Mount the User Software CD-ROM provided with the printer.
Call for service and request a new installer CD-ROM. You can also
download the driver from the Canon Home Page (http://www.canon.com/).
If the printer is connected via the USB or IEEE1394 port, check the cable
