Power-on

Turn on the computer, TV set, and the Network Media Receiver, and bring up the image from the
Network Media Receiver on the TV screen.
For using the Network Media Receiver, the computer must be started up (booted), the TV set must
be switched on, and the input to which the Network Media Receiver is connected must be selected
at the TV.

If the Network Media Receiver is connected to a hub or a router with
built-in hub, turn on power to the hub or router.

Turn power to the computer on.

Press the TV POWER button on the remote control to turn the TV set
on.

Use the TV/VIDEO button on the remote control to select the input to
which the Network Media Receiver is connected.

Press the Network Media Receiver POWER button on the remote
control to turn the Network Media Receiver on.
The standby indicator changes to green, and the ??? "Server List" ??? screen
appears on the TV.

Hint
If the ??? "Start computer automatically" ??? setting (page 45) is selected, and the computer is in standby
or hibernation mode, it will automatically start up when the Network Media Receiver is turned on.
Note
For about 20 seconds after the power cord was connected, the Network Media Receiver cannot be turned
on. Verify that the standby indicator is lit in red before pressing the Network Media Receiver POWER
button.
