In the Administrator Password field, enter a password for the manager account on the
storage block.

In the Storage Pool drop-down, assign the storage block to a storage pool from the list.
In the Cloud Controller, storage resources (storage blocks) are organized into storage pools. A
storage block must be added to a storage pool for it to store application instances.
To crate a storage pool:
1. In the Storage Pool drop-down, select New storage pool ....
2. Enter a name for the storage pool.
3. Click Create.

Click Register Storage Block to complete registration.

Repeat this process to register all remaining storage blocks.

Replace the storage enclosure

This procedure describes replacing the ThinkAgile CP storage enclosure.
Performed by: Customer, Lenovo ThinkAgile Advantage Support, field service
Step 1.
Record the enclosure serial number.
Step 2.
Perform a complete shutdown of the storage controller, as described in "Shutting off a storage
controller" on page 51.
Step 3.
Record the exact locations of the drives and the storage controllers, and the exact connections of
the cables. The drives, storage controllers, and cables must be placed in their original enclosure
locations when replacing the enclosure.
Step 4.
Customer/field service: Power off and disconnect the storage enclosure.
Step 5.
Replace the enclosure, repopulate storage controllers and drives, and reconnect the cables.
Step 6.
Power on the storage enclosure.
Step 7.
Sign in to the primary interconnect with Chapter 4 "Support Mode" on page 13. The username is
admin and the password is the one you set during installation.
Step 8.

Step 9.
ThinkAgile Advantage Support: Contact Lenovo Support and request a hardware removal from the
database by providing the previous storage enclosure serial number you obtained from Lenovo
Support.
Remove the enclosure
Use this information to remove the storage enclosure.
