Remove the BJ Cartridge from its protective packaging.
Black BJ Cartridge BC-10
When you use the Color BJ Cartridge BC-11e or BJ Cartridge BC-12e
Photo, make sure that two ink tanks, one BCI-11 Black and one BCI-11
Color (or one BCI-12 Photo Black and BCI-12 Photo Color), are installed
in the BJ Cartridge. Printing is not possible if the ink tanks are not
installed correctly.

Remove the orange protective cap from the print head and then
remove the orange protective tape.
